GNAGS: Last ride of the carousel

Gnags has been putting rhythm, colours and wild rabbits to Danish music for 60 years. Now Peter A.G. & Co. are taking one last ride in the carousel. Jesper Skaaning's documentary takes a close look at one of Denmark's most original and playful bands and tells the story of big hits, strong friendships, breakups and an irrepressible urge to go their own way. Through unique archival material and interviews with the band members as well as Thomas Helmig, who established a close bond with the group during its Aarhus time, an intimate portrait of Gnags - and not least Gnags' importance to Danish music - is drawn.
