Nathalie Baye plays Anne, one of the dedicated and empathetic family planning counsellors who welcome and listen to women, each grappling with the question of how sexual freedom can truly be possible. Throughout her career, Baye has often been celebrated for her supporting performances and her remarkable ability to deepen and enrich a film through her unmistakable screen presence. God’s Offices is one of many ensemble works in which Baye shines not as the central protagonist, but as an actress whose generosity of spirit elevates those around her, enriching every scene she shares. God’s Offices premiered in Cannes’ Directors Fortnight.
