An hour of calm

Do you ever dream of holy peace? About even one weekend, Sunday, evening, even an hour just for yourself? We all know it. There's always something going on. Philip (Paweł Wawrzecki) is trying to carve out 60 minutes to audition a record of his favorite jazz performer. Unfortunately, it is not given to him...

His wife just got together for some serious conversations. However, this is not the end of the complications, because when he finally manages to send his wife to another room, a Polish plumber appears, who does not speak Polish at all, a neighbor with a complaint, a son a metalworker and a whole bunch of other unexpected guests. The acting performance of Paweł Wawrzecki, who for almost the entire performance does not leave the stage, dreaming of even one... hour of peace.

The author of the play is Florian Zeller, a contemporary French playwright, whose work combines the qualities of light comedies and a not at all banal and very apt reflection on our lives.

Excellent text, fast pace and daring acting are the greatest assets of the performance of Kvadrat - we invite you!
