Naked and cheerful

The comedy “Naked and Cheerful” by Stephen Sinclaire and Anthony McCarten has already conquered the whole world. It has not come off the poster since its premiere at the Mercury Theatre in Auckland, New Zealand, which took place in 1987, that speaks for itself! The play was produced by the Gudejko Theater, responsible for such hits as “Berek, or the Phantom in the Mohair”, “Nerwica of Obsessions” or “Between the Beds”.

“Naked and cheerful” is the story of several unemployed people from Tomaszów Mazowiecki who come up with the idea to start a group of strippers. Under the name “Horny Rhinos” they plan to realize the dream of a great career that would break the streak of life failures. So we will accompany them in this audacious endeavor, watching them take their first, inept dance lessons, try to perform at the Eden Club (the only one in town) or finally — after many hours of practice — give their premiere, unforgettable performance.

“Naked and Merry” is a surprising and hilarious comedy. Tomasz Sapryk is responsible for the artistic development of the performance, and on stage we will be able to see, among others, Katarzyna Ptasinska, Sebastian Cybulski, Michał Lesieni-Głowacki and Piotr Zelt.

A hot evening in the company of “Horny Rhinos” is ahead. Are you ready?
