“The Game of Oranges” — the world of abstraction by Justyna Zarębska

On 23 October at 18:00 in the Wąbrzeg House of Culture there will be a grand opening of Justyna Zarębska's painting exhibition entitled “The Game of Oranges”. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of abstraction, colors and shapes that create a unique story of beauty, emotion and artistic sensitivity.

The author of the exhibition, Justyna Zarębska was born in Wąbrzeźno, where she lives, works and creates. He is mainly engaged in painting, but also drawing in the direction of abstraction and surrealism. In her artistic activity, she is inspired by her own imagination, which is a key element of her work, striving for beauty that is ideal, unreal and abstract at the same time. Each of her paintings or drawings, as she claims, is a space for dialogue with the Recipient, open to a multiplicity of meanings and experiences.

The artist is a laureate of the Autumn Debut '2025 and Debut III '2026 competition and the winner of a distinction in the Spring Debut Competition '2026, organized by the Art Gallery and Atelier MAYA in Toruń.

She is a participant in a dozen exhibitions from the 1990s until the last “Orange Game”, which will soon be housed in the Wąbrzeg House of Culture.

The exhibition is the result of a long journey through years of experience and experimentation with the material of fine arts, it is courage, the energy of symbolically accentuated color, it is simply an abstraction hiding a synthesis of intriguing shapes, dressed in an aesthetic whole.
