Swan Lake is a timeless tale of love, fidelity, betrayal and sacrifice. Prince Siegfried meets Odette, a young woman turned into a swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart. The curse can only be broken by a true and unconditional feeling. The fate of the heroes is complicated when Odyla, the Black Swan, appears at court, who, thanks to a trick and resemblance to Odetta, tries to deceive the prince. The story of Odetta and Siegfried has moved audiences around the world for generations. Its unique strength is due to the combination of the dramatic plot, the emotional music of Piotr Tchaikovsky and the choreography, which requires from the artists excellent technical preparation, musicality and interpretive maturity. A special place in the play is occupied by the double role of Odetta and Odylia. This is one of the greatest challenges in the classical ballet repertoire. The soloist has to portray two extremely different characters: the gentle, lyrical White Swan and the decisive, seductive

The soloist has to portray two extremely different characters: the delicate, lyrical White Swan and the decisive, seductive and full of stage power Black Swan. This role requires not only a unique technique, but also the ability to create two expressive acting creations. Alessandro Bonavita, artistic director of the Gran Balletto Reale d'Italia, oversees the artistic form of the show. Its concept emphasizes the elegance of classical ballet, the high technical requirements and the emotional dimension of the story of Odetta and Siegfried. Each scene has been designed to maintain respect for tradition while creating a show that is readable, dynamic and moving for a contemporary audience.

Gran Balletto Reale d'Italia is an international artistic project inspired by Italian theatrical culture, the aesthetics of big stages and the highest standards of ballet art. The ensemble consists of carefully selected soloists and dancers, who combine classical education, stage experience and attention to the precision of each element of the performance. An important role in the performance is also played by the corps de ballet, whose ensemble scenes build a characteristic picture of the world of enchanted swans. The uniformity of movement, synchronization and composition of collective scenes create the effect of harmony, lightness and stage momentum. Solo parts are interspersed with elaborate ensemble arrangements, leading the viewer through the successive stages of the dramatic story. Sophisticated costumes, classical aesthetics, light and music create a coherent setting of the show. The show retains the elegance of traditional ballet while taking advantage of the possibilities of the contemporary theater scene. Thanks to this, “Swan Lake” can interest both connoisseurs of the classics and people who are just starting their adventure with ballet art. “Swan Lake” performed by the Gran Balletto Reale d'Italia is a proposal for lovers of classics, families, young people and spectators looking for events of high artistic standing. This is a meeting with one of the greatest masterpieces of ballet, presented in an elegant, full of emotion and stage boom form. Gran Balletto Reale d'Italia invites you to an evening in which classical ballet art, music by Piotr Czajkowski and a timeless love story create a unique theatrical spectacle — FIRST TIME IN POLAND!
