A year ago, the public was delighted with the exhibitions of paintings by Józef Chełmoński. But naturalistic landscapes are just one of the many faces of realism in art. During the lecture we will look at different strategies of realistic representation of the world in graphic design — from faithful observation of reality, to the use of photography and painting illusion.

Under the name “Graphic Concept” hides a series of activities of the Poster Gallery and Graphic Design from the National Museum in Poznań. Each year, through lectures, not only a diverse collection of the museum's graphic collections — both Polish and foreign — is presented, but also the broadly understood problem of graphics as a visual message full of social, cultural or political content is discussed.
The author of the graphics promoting the Graphic Concept lecture series is Mr. Antoni Kaczmarek, a graphic design student at the Collegium da Vinci.
Collaboration with the Collegium da Vinci.
