Grateka — Dixit

We invite you to the next meeting of the series dedicated to board games! Each meeting is a different board game. Every meeting is a good time.

Our thirteenth proposal within the series will be a world full of extraordinary heroes and fantastic views — the world of dreams and dreams. Welcome to Dixit!

Dixit is a unique narrative card game. In the opinion of the players, it is to come up with associations and guess ambiguous, richly decorated cards. Each card is a small work of art. Created with different graphic styles, full of associations and hidden meanings. The author of this game is a French doctor who works with young patients experiencing school difficulties.

The gameplay is very simple! In each turn, one of the participants takes on the role of narrator. He chooses any card from his hand and gives the association that, in his opinion, best reflects the illustration presented. It can be a single word, an elaborate sentence, a quote, or even a fragment of a song or movie. The other players choose from their cards the one that they think matches the given clue. Then all the selected illustrations are mixed, and the task of the participants is to indicate which card, in their opinion, belonged to the narrator.
