Green Lung

Forged in London’s underground metal scene, Green Lung have become one of the defining voices in modern British heavy music, fusing thunderous riffs, occult folklore and towering hooks into a sound that feels both timeless and unmistakably their own. Across acclaimed albums including Woodland Rites, Black Harvest and This Heathen Land, the band have built a devoted following with their blend of doom-laden heaviness, Hammond-fuelled psychedelia and tales drawn from Britain’s dark past.

Now they return with their monumental fourth album, Necropolitan, released via Nuclear Blast. Recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios with producer Tom Dalgety — known for his work with Ghost and Opeth — the album captures the band at their rawest and heaviest yet, channelling the spirit of Black Sabbath, Queen and Judas Priest into a colossal live-sounding record steeped in London myth, occult horror and classic metal grandeur.

Following sold-out headline tours and major festival appearances, Green Lung arrive at the Roundhouse with a reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying live bands — carrying the torch for traditional heavy metal into a new era.

The Roundhouse is one of London’s most iconic music venues. Find more gigs in Camden, concerts in London and events near you on our What’s On page.
