The Warsaw premiere of a play by Gdańsk playwright Anna Wakulik is a brilliant and perverse story about family secrets that come to light at the least expected moment — after the death of her grandfather. The will he left behind disrupts the existing order and forces the four relatives to confront questions about identity, inheritance and... blood type. Because it seems that we all have the same - and yet someone once decided that blue blood means more than that flowing in the veins of an ordinary peasant woman. In today's democracy, do we all have equal opportunities? Or do we need to go deeper — to the roots of Polish identity and history, which still influences our everyday life? This is what the moving play directed by Wojciech Urbański tells about.
Starring Emilia Komarnicka, Olga Sarzyńska, Łukasz Lewandowski and Dariusz Wnuk.
Media patrons: RMF Classic, TVP Kultura.
The license for the performance of the work was issued by the Association of Authors ZAiKS.
The play takes part in the 32nd National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art.
