Meetings of the Textile Group are a space for exchanging experiences, sharing stories and searching for creative ways to tell about the past. The starting point can be family objects, fragments of materials or other textiles that carry memories.
The group got together during the finalization of Kristina Čepkenović Karlsen's exhibition Spaces of Memory and Imagination. In the coming months, participants will develop their own projects inspired by memory, heritage, dowry and tradition.
Do you want to join? We invite all those interested in joint creative work. We encourage you to bring textile souvenirs that demand storytelling or creative processing.
The organizer provides space for joint work and conversation. Materials and tools are brought by participants on their own.
