Georgian State Ballet APHKHAZETI with live choir and orchestra

Georgian State Ballet APHKHAZETI with live choir and orchestra.

A show where tradition meets modernity and dance becomes an emotion.

There will be an element on the stage that cannot be stopped. Movement, rhythm and emotion are woven into one, creating a spectacle that goes beyond the framework of a classical concert.

Georgian State Ballet APHKHAZETI with choir and live orchestra is a performance that not only delights — it mesmerizes from the first second.

Founded in 1931, the band is a true legend of Georgian culture.

For almost a hundred years of their history, the artists have traveled the world, presenting the essence of Georgia to the public - pride, passion and extraordinary strength of tradition.

Despite difficult experiences, such as the war in Abkhazia and the forced transfer of activities to Tbilisi in 1992, APHKHAZETI not only remained on the scene, but came out of these events even stronger.

It is a story about art that conquers adversity.

A new chapter began in 2021 when the charismatic and visionary Bachana Chanturia became artistic director.

It was he who set a new direction for the ensemble, combining traditional folklore with modern dance and original music of artists belonging to the leading Georgian composers.

The fruit of this artistic transformation is the performance “Choreonicon” — an energetic, multidimensional spectacle in which traditional musical motifs acquire a new sound thanks to a live orchestra, and dance allows the audience to immerse themselves in Georgian stories and emotions.

On stage you will see spectacular dance arrangements from different regions of Georgia — full of precision, energy and spectacular acrobatic elements.

Men's parties delight with strength and dynamism, and feminine ones - with subtlety and elegance. Every gesture, every step has meaning and tells a story rooted in centuries-old tradition.

This is no ordinary performance. It is an experience that engages all the senses. The sound of the live orchestra, the power of the choir, the colorful costumes and the perfect synchronization of the artists make up a world-class spectacle that is met with standing ovations in every country.

APHKHAZETI is a combination of ethnicity, ballet and modernity — a unique formula that redefines the concept of folk dance and carries it into the 21st century.

This is a show that the Polish audience has not seen yet. Allow yourself an evening full of emotion, energy and beauty. Enter a world where tradition lives and dance tells stories without words. APHKHAZETI — this is not to be seen. It is lived!
