Gry Jexen returns to Bremen Theatre with his new show

Join us as historian and bestselling author Gry Jexen returns to Bremen Theatre with a brand new show in which she takes stock of gender equality in history. How far have we really come? What has been accomplished since last? What's still lagging? And what does it take for the writing of history to seriously change?

For the past several years, Gry Jexen, with her direct, curious and entertaining approach to storytelling, has helped to create a lot of interest in correcting history's biases through TV, podcasts, Instagram and lectures — and not least with her bestselling book Woman Know Your Story — mirror you in the past. She has, like no other, opened the story to the general public through her present dissemination.

In her new show, she takes stock of the work of nuancing history and writing the women rightfully into our shared past. Drawing on current trends and concrete examples, she shows how the past still affects us today. It's a wake-up call and an invitation: as we nuance history, we also change our gaze on the present.

Take your friends, mom, dad, siblings and anyone else who loves a good night out in good company, under your arm and we'll see you for some enriching hours. The show is also good for those of you who have previously watched Gry's shows as it brings new perspectives.
