Concert on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Grzegorz Kupczyk's artistic activity and the promotion of the new album “APERITIF”, published by MYSTIC Productions.

Grzegorz Kupczyk is one of the most important figures in the history of Polish rock and heavy metal. Associated with the scene from an early age, in the 1970s he gained honors in Poznań bands as a vocalist, bass player and guitarist. His national fame was brought to him by the band Turbo, which he joined in 1980 — his characteristic voice became a showcase for cult albums of Polish music, such as “Adulte Children”, “Taste of Silence” or “Cavaleria Satana” (he was associated with the formation in 1980—1989 and 1995—2007).

At the turn of the decades he collaborated with Non Iron, and in 1989 he founded the CETI formation, which became his flagship, original project combining heavy sounds with melodiousness. For his many years of contribution to national culture, he was awarded the Golden Cross of Merit in 2012.

In recent years, the artist has focused on his work under his own name in the permanent composition of NZB (with Paweł Oziabło, Grzegorz “Ornette” Stępnie and Łukasz Marek). Released in 2024, the eponymous album earned him a nomination for Fryderyk (Metal Album of the Year), and the continuation of this path is the album “Aperitif” (Mystic Production) with compositions by Oziabły, combining premiere rock material with the legendary achievements of Kupczyk's entire career.
