Guided Meditation and Artist Talk

About the event

End the day with a very special experience where you will be guided to explore the art works of the artist duo J&K and their materials through contemplation and tranquility.

In the midst of this autumn's big exhibition Couples Therapy, surrounded by the soft work installation Hug Tuck Fold Pack, the artist duo J&K/Janne Schäfer and Kristine Agergaard take us on a journey into their magical universe.

Along the way, we watch J&K's video work Mammal Matrix, which explores transitions between the life cycles of different life forms. After this, the artist duo performs a guided sensuous meditation in which the audience is invited to sit or lie in the installation. Through their very special material meditation, they will expand our inner sensory apparatus — to open up the secret life and history of materials.

After the guided meditation, we explore the exhibition Couples Therapy together, while the artist duo unfolds the thoughts behind their nearly 30-year collaboration.

Note: the event is in English.
