Guido Cantz — Strange Times

climate change. Artificial intelligence. Legal smoking. Political correctness. Shift to the right. Vegan hot dogs. No weapons zones. And Friedrich Merz, a second-rate federal chancellor... there is no denying that we live in strange times. The question is: Can you also see funny sides of these strange times despite all uncertainties and justified concerns? You can. At least when top comedian Guido Cantz takes the stage.

The blonde entertainer has been delighting his fans for 34 years with unmistakable humor and accurate gags. Whether as a presenter, quick-witted guest on numerous television shows or as a speaker at Cologne Carnival: When Cantz comes, there is guaranteed to be something to laugh about!

Of course, this also applies to his celebrated solo evenings on Germany's stages. With his sixth program “Strange Times,” Guido Cantz dares to take a humorous look at a world that seems to be falling apart. Even he can't stop all the madness — but the comedy star is convinced: The whole thing is definitely easier to bear with a laugh!

In his current program, Guido Cantz presents his very own look at the funny times we are currently experiencing: With his natural wit, he pushes artificial intelligence to its limits, meets his own avatar and explains why a knife ban actually only makes sense in one place: at the bouncy castle.

At the same time, he talks about the strange times he experiences with his own family and explains why it is an explosive mix when midlife crisis, menopause and puberty come together at the same time — a hotbed of trouble that receives virtually no attention in the news. But all the more (and all the more funny) in Guido Cantz's new stage program!

After his successful shows “Cantz schön frech”, “Ich will ein Kind von Dir”, “Cantz schön clever”, “Blondilaeum” and “Das volle Programm”, Germany's blondest entertainer is really accelerating again. He promises his fans: They may encounter strange times in the daily topics and on TikTok, but nowhere are they AS funny as with Guido Cantz!
