🎸 On November 28, the band Gutierez will perform at MOK Brzezinka, who will present material from their latest album “Dead Sea”. This is a unique opportunity to hear the premiere material live and immerse yourself in the world of music that moves, inspires reflection and gives hope.

The Dead Sea album is a collection of stories about daily struggles with life, disorders, insomnia, addictions, longing and the loss of loved ones. However, this is not a record about giving up. On the contrary, through all the works there is a persistent hope and a will to survive. It is a musical journey through difficult emotions, in which you can also find strength, comfort and understanding.

Musically, Gutierez remains true to his signature aesthetic, blending alt-country, folk, indie and rock. Acoustic guitars, banjo, accordion, analog keyboards and multi-voice vocal parts create a unique sound that the band refers to as modern “focal hymns”. It is music full of authenticity, melancholy and energy that sounds best during concert meetings with the audience.

“When the dark clouds were coming, I would always run away to the music. As a kid, I locked myself in a room with a tape recorder, pretended to play guitar and stand on stage. Today it is still the same. Music remains for me a form of therapy, a way to tame the world and my own emotions,” says Bartek Woźniczko, leader of the band.

Gutierez has been consistently building his position on the Polish alternative scene for years. The band performed before Pearl Jam at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, played during the first edition of the OFF Festival and appeared in the program of Kuba Vojewódzki.

The group's previous album, “Map of the End of the World”, was released on October 18, 2024. The publishing house was promoted by the works “Olbrzym”, “Bartek” and “Czeresnie”, and the album was very well received by critics.

“If the new Myslovitz songs sound too joyful for you, fall under the emotional waltz of Gutierrez” — wrote Maciej Koprowicz in the pages of the magazine “Teraz Rock” (4.5/5).

“I love the atmosphere of this album. It has bliss and peace, which is only enhanced by great compositions” — assessed Mikołaj Narkun from “SztukMix” (5/6).
