Embroidered patches or brooches — computer embroidery workshop (18+)

We will learn the basics of designing simple vector graphics in a special graphic program and create our own projects of small, simple embroideries (maximum project size is approx. 5×5 cm). We will create projects based on simple basic shapes (circles, ellipses, squares, rectangles, triangles and polygons). Each participant creates one project. The designs will then be embroidered on our computer embroidery machine, which is a machine that will embroider the designs automatically on felt. The finished embroidery can be used as a key chain, brooch, patch for a backpack, hat or clothing.

The designs embroidered on felt (one for each person) will be available to pick up at a time agreed individually with the host. In class, we create projects from scratch. We do not embroider ready-made designs brought by participants.

Since the classes use a rather complicated graphic program, to participate in the workshop a very good basic knowledge of using a computer with a mouse and using the Internet (copying elements, selecting elements, dragging, etc.) is required.

We work in a small, intimate group.

Classes are for adults only.
