Heavy riffs and grandiose melodies drift down the walls with HAKEN in VEGA

They have evolved into one of the most distinctive names in modern progressive rock, playing to dedicated fans around the world and creating a musical universe that constantly challenges both genre boundaries and listeners' expectations — and now HAKEN returns to VEGA.

Since their formation in 2007, the English band has created their very own musical universe, where progressive rock, metal and melodic, jazzy elements merge into complex compositions and magnificent soundscapes.

With their technical surpluses and uncompromising approach to songwriting, HAKEN has developed over the years into one of the most respected players in the genre and has achieved great acclaim — both among fans and reviewers.

The band's music is characterised by ambitious arrangements, virtuoso interplay and narratives that move between the personal, the philosophical and the conceptual. The result is a sound that both challenges and engages the listener, without compromising on the big tunes.

Most recently, the band released the critically acclaimed album Fauna, which explores man's relationship with nature through a concept where each track is based on an animal. The album was hailed for its creativity, cohesive narrative and musical ambition.

Now the band is on the cusp of a new chapter with the new single “In a Fever Dream”, which features some of the most direct and emotionally present material to date.

On stage, HAKEN are known for turning their complex compositions into intense and immersive live experiences. Audiences can expect an evening filled with technical excess, atmospheric soundscapes, heavy riffs and magnificent melodies when the band guests Store VEGA on their upcoming European tour.
