Hello, it's Bielicka! To be like Hank

The inspiration for this story is the friendship of the legendary star of the stage, Hanka Bielicka and Bogdan Brzeziński, the author of her monologues (he wrote about a thousand of them for her). She (Aldona Jankowska) — full of temperament, always on the road and always in the spotlight. He (Radosław Pazura) — introverted, constantly in his Krakow office, in the shadow of a star. Together they laugh, argue, create for almost thirty years - and all this on the phone...

“Hello, it's Bielicka! That is, to be like Hanka” is a tribute paid by Aldona Jankowska to Hanka Bielicka, who was for her - as for many - an unsurpassed role model. The actress with a similar temperament and sense of humor adopts the figure of the legend of the stage, which inspired her to find her own unique path and fulfill her dreams.

The performance was created on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Aldona Jankowska's stage work, and we dedicate it to the memory of her friend and manager, Henryk Pasiut.

In addition to the wonderful acting of the two, there is also the effect of the total difference in the characters of the characters: she - the element, temperament, energy, an uninterrupted stream of words and a lot of decibels; he - “an unusually calm man”, phlegmatic, composed, silently straining words. Their phone calls could be listened to for hours. And the songs (my favorite yard ballads) — fingers lick!

Hanka Bielicka is indeed inimitable, one of a kind, BUT... Aldona Jankowska is simply fantastic, she played Bielicka phenomenally, to the point, without redrawing, with sensitivity and tenderness. The role of Brzeziński is brilliantly played by the very talented Marek Sadowski, endowed not only with a wonderful voice and hearing (he plays Baduszkowa every day, noblesse oblige!) but also a wonderful vis comica.
