Hania Derej Threesome

Hania Derej Trio is a new project by composer and pianist Hani Derej, in which the artist combines her previous interests and presents her music in a modern form based on subsequent experiences.

The trio's music is based on an electronic, jazz sound with elements of neoclassicism. There are moments of high intensity, strong emotions, controlled chaos, but also fragments with beautiful and singing melodies surrounded by a lot of ostinat and repetitiveness. The premise of the album was to send a message of positive energy, to show joy, to enjoy the moment, to appreciate where one is and to convey hope and vision of the next day as a new beginning. Music has been formed over the last two years, where Hania has traveled a lot, played and studied at two universities. There was a lot of everything and it was hard at times, but it was this material, the possibility of composing, that allowed her to remain herself and not stop along the way. It was this music that balanced her, restored her energy and faith. Hania would like to share these emotions and pass on. Charge others with energy or make them think. The trio will present a new, newly released material at the concert.
