Harald Martenstein — Alter der Spur - Neue und alte Kolnen

Harald Martenstein's columns are honest, pointed, often very funny and highly subjective. Hardly anyone has the gift of thinking about everyday phenomena in a way that touches many people. A large number of them feel understood.

Harald Martenstein stands by representing one of the most controversial population groups in our country: the old white man. Fortunately, he doesn't limit himself to this perspective. His success shows that he speaks for people from a wide range of backgrounds and contexts.

Martenstein will present humorous and serious, old and new texts — including from his latest book “Guided Democracy,” a passionate plea for freedom of speech and against prohibitions of thought. It is based on his now famous speech at Hamburg's Thalia Theatre, which was clicked on the Internet many millions of times.
