The Queer CunTine transforms the Sophiensæle canteen into a nightclub: On the three Saturdays following the performances of Nesterval's Eldorado — an immersive theatre work about queer life in Berlin before and during the Nazi era — the director, actor, curator and activist Heinrich Horwitz invites Berlin artists from different generations to join forces with queer champions, ancestors and myths to conjure, celebrate the present and imagine a future. The result is three different bar evenings with music, drag, stand-up and performance — not only for the audience who was in the theatre before, but for everyone.
