A group of anonymous people secretly meet every 12 years in a mountain outback to meditate for two weeks, explore their own limitations and undergo a religious ritual with cleansing power. Although there are a number of strict rules in place in the temporary camp, some participants also delve into these darkest corners of consciousness.

The avant-garde, visually gripping drama combines the traditions of Shakespearean tragedy with Buddhist parables about death and lust. Simple, ordinary events, transferred to a space governed by its own rules, become metaphors - the director, however, does not formulate unambiguous answers, leaving the audience open space for interpretation.

Khyentse Norbu, a director who also performs important spiritual functions in the Buddhist community, does not use film didactically, as a means of transmitting traditional teaching. Rather, he points out different paths and tropes, often very unobvious. He makes very conscious use of the film form, creating a disturbing, hypnotic story about human passions.
