HIMMLER'S STOLEN CHILDREN DOCUMENTARY BY: CHRISTOPH SCHWARZ
Press conference on November 19 at 14:00 and film screening 17:15: Compensation for robbed children after over 80 years? Where Babylon, Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 30, Berlin.
Over 80 years ago, Himmler's SS men robbed around 200,000 children from Poland, Slovenia... To date, the victims have received no compensation from the federal government. The petition submitted by the association “Stolen Children - Forgotten Victims” in 2022 appears to have marked a historic turning point: In May, the Committee on Petitions made a positive decision and has now called on the federal government to look for a “compensation solution at federal level.” According to the Federal Ministry of Finance, 125 million euros are required for this. The federal government has until October to refuse or assume historical responsibility in order to recognize the genocide of robbed children.
In order to announce the historic decision of the Federal Government, the association “Robbed Children - Forgotten Victims” is inviting on November 19, 2026 at 2 pm at the Babylon cinema in Berlin to a press conference with former robbed children Anton Model (contemporary witness) and Bundestag member Ruppert STÜWE (SPD), and Christoph Schwarz filmmakers and association chairman of the association “Robbed Children - Forgotten Victims”.
At 5:15pm, the film “Himmler's Robbed Children” will be shown, followed by an eyewitness talk and panel discussion.
Anton Model, whose mother had a forbidden relationship with a German as a Ukrainian forced laborer, comes as a contemporary witness. As a result, her son was forcibly taken away from her and “Germanized”
The relatives of former robbed children are also present.
