This year's celebration of the National Independence Day at the Municipal Cultural Center will begin on November 8 with a meeting with the theater. Younger viewers and their parents will embark on an extraordinary journey through the history of Poland thanks to the play “History through the Eyes of a Child: 1918 — Independent Poland” performed by the actors of the Pan O. Theatre.
During a colorful journey through successive eras, history will speak with dance, singing and humor, bringing to young audiences the important events of our country's past. This story will not lack valuable information, but also theatrical magic, which will allow you to look at the story from a children's perspective. Fairytale costumes, charming scenography and expressive characters will complete the show, creating a show that combines education with fun and arouses curiosity about the past history of our country.
The performance will be an opportunity to introduce children in an accessible and attractive way to the importance of regaining Poland's independence, and at the same time to start a joint celebration of one of the most important days in the history of our country.
