ul. Karola Szymanowskiego 1, Gorzów Wielkopolski

Can the recipe for a successful song consist in repeating one melody eighteen times? It turned out that yes. But success would not be without the courage, sound imagination and genius of Maurice Ravel. Boléro, which today is an undisputed hit of concert halls, was created in 1928 by the order of the dancer — Ida Rubinstein and was part of her dance performance. The traditional Spanish dance in Ravel's version begins inconspicuously, to become more and more mesmerizing and captivating from one beat to the next. The same is true of Arturo Márquez's 1994 composition. The Mexican composer clearly alludes to Ravel's idea - one melody skillfully developed and full of hot rhythms is enough to captivate the audience. Sensual and full of mystery is also the music of Manuel de Falla — Spanish rhythms and here they take over the way the musical story is conducted. As a solo instrument, the piano — accompanied by Martin García García, whose temperament and spontaneous play delighted during the Chopin Competition

As a solo instrument, the piano — accompanied by Martin García García, whose temperament and spontaneous play delighted during the Chopin Competition in 2021. It will be a very intense evening that will begin with a song that is an excellent introduction to the crazy journey to the hot south. Luciano Berio, a 20th-century Italian composer, reaches for the music of Baroque composer Luigi Boccherini to entertain himself with a famous fragment of one of the quintets. Let's imagine a night guard that roams the streets of Madrid. As it approaches us, it can be heard more and more clearly, as it moves away, the sound becomes quieter and quieter. But he still has his eye on us, in case the crazy dances and the hot nights in the Spanish gardens hit us too hard.
