Classical Music Hits — Vivaldissimo

We invite you to a unique evening with music that has delighted listeners all over the world for centuries. “Vivaldissimo” is a meeting of two extraordinary musical worlds — the baroque energy of Antonio Vivaldi and a contemporary, emotional interpretation of his works.

The concert program will include Astor Piazzolla's mesmerizing “Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas” (“The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires”) — a passionate story about the rhythm, tango and atmosphere of the South American city. The virtuosity of the violin, the sensual melody and the pulsating energy of the tango create a composition that delights both lovers of classical music and new sounds.

The second part of the evening will be filled with the extraordinary project “Vivaldi Recomposed” by Max Richter — a contemporary reinterpretation of Antonio Vivaldi's famous “Four Seasons” series. Richter retains the recognizable beauty of the original while giving it a new, minimalist and emotionally charged face.

The solo parts on the violin will be performed by Katarzyna Gluza, who is also the artistic director of the Vivaldissimo concert.
