Hocki-Blocki

“Hocki-Klocki” is a dance performance dedicated to children from 3 years old. It is an initiative of the Białystok couple of dance and theater artists — Katarzyna and Piotr Wiktorko, who together with dancer Zuzanna Knyszewska will invite children to a dance story about pranks, mischief, cooperation and friendship.

The show is the story of two friends who, entangled in a whirlwind of children's games, find themselves in an unusual world, where the pixie and his colorful building blocks play a key role. The dynamic scenography, full of movement and colour, combined with a variety of dance forms, takes young viewers into the fairytale reality of their own imagination.

The production is carried out as part of the program Spaces of Art — Dance, Białystok, and its creators are winners of the competition open for the realization of the chamber premiere. The local operator of the program is the Dance Art Development Foundation, the Bialystok Puppet Theatre and the Bialystok Cultural Center.

The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the Spaces of Art — Dance Programme, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
