Holger Bech Nielsen and Albert Sneppen come to Bremen Theatre
From the smallest atoms to the largest star clusters. Particles moving at the speed of light and black holes where time is almost at a standstill.
The universe is full of contradictions. And it's actually kind of the same with Holger and Albert.
Now they meet for the first time on stage for a fascinating conversation across two generations of scientists and offer their take on how it all ties together. Holger Bech Nielsen is a theoretical physicist and professor emeritus at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen, where he set his legs for the first time in 1961. Holger is recognized for his pioneering contributions to theoretical particle physics, particularly in the field of string theory. Albert Sneppen is a physicist and PhD student at the Niels Bohr Institute.
At a young age, he has contributed significantly to the understanding of the behavior of light around black holes and has received considerable international attention for his work. A fun and spectacular travelTake a fun and spectacular journey through our incredible universe as the grand-old-man of Danish science meets one of the most impressive research talents of the time.
Joining the stage to guide the two through the conversation is the responsible editor-in-chief of the medium Ingeniøren, Jonas Kuld Rathje, who is also co-author on Holger's books The Theory of Everything and The Theory of Nothing and Albert's book Black Holes.
You can look forward to an evening filled with both the cosmic and the chaotic — and not least Albert and Holger's numerous theories on both big and small.
