“HOME. Home. Dim”
Opening of the exhibition of photographs of the participants of the psychological and social project and a panel discussion on the experiences of migration and intercultural mutual understanding

Free admission

A home is more than a place on a map. It's the people around us, the memories we carry inside of us. It's a sense of security, belonging and connection that makes us feel part of a community.

For people who have experienced migration and resettlement, the concept of home can be special.

“HOME. Home. Dim” is a psychological and social project for building social cohesion, which brought together 25 participants from Poland, Ukraine and Vietnam. Participants explored and presented their experiences related to home, identity and sense of belonging. They built relationships between cultures and communities. Photography has become a common language, a space to share stories, a place to develop mutual understanding.

The exhibition presents the participants' personal perspectives and invites them to talk about what a home is, how it shapes our identity and how we can build more open and supportive communities.

What did it look like?
During the series of workshops and creative walks, the participants got to know their surroundings, shared perspectives and engaged in intercultural exchange of experiences.

Participants were accompanied by:
Tomek Sikora — photography mentor who shared his experience and passion for photographic art.
Anna July — a guide who inspired the participants to look at familiar places from a new perspective and discover new points of view.
