The creators of the hit “Divine” with Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas and the iconic “Honorary Citizen” return with a comedy-drama that has attracted more than 2 million viewers to Argentine cinemas!
World Cup reporter, slum priest, millionaire, film director, neurotic intellectual, president-elect. All these characters, and several others, are united by the role of the outstanding Argentine actor Guillermo Francella in the new production of the popular duo Gastón Duprat and Mariano Cohn.
Their film is divided into sixteen stories, and each of them, in a satirical tone, addresses the dilemmas and contradictions that modern man faces. It is a story about absurdities, the hypocrisy of the middle and upper class, but also about interpersonal relationships, weaknesses and desires, which gives it a universal character. Because the equivalents of the next characters, in which Francello plays the role, can be found at any longitude and latitude.
Duprat and Cohn once again, in a humorous but sometimes bitter way, diagnose the social behaviors, moods and challenges we face in today's reality around the world. Their latest film is a universal story and an accurate portrait of the human species — not just Argentines.
