Homo Twist Maciej Maleńczuk/27.11.2026

Maciej Maleńczuk with his first club concert* in Białystok in 15 years!

So it's time to get up from the comfortable seats of the Philharmonic, hang up your dresses and tailcoats to come face to face with the raw music of Hendrix's powert trio HOMO TWIST and the unspoken language of Maciek Maleńczuk whose texts they can accurately forge!

GAY TWIST — STILL EXISTS!

*yes, in truth it is even more, because we count since 2008 when he played in Juvenalia. By the way — the youth lineup has changed over the years.

&# #x1f449; Maciej Maleńczuk is an artist who has been brilliant on Polish stages for years, but it so happened that he never went crazy on ours. We decided to change that and together with the entire Homo Twist team, invite you to the 13th birthday of Climate Change!

&# #x1f449; We present to you the project of Maciej Maleńczuk known as: HOMO TWIST. It is Maleńczuk in the electric edition, in the form of a Hendrix trio. The band in different lineups and at different times recorded seven CDs. The second album entitled HOMO TWIST received 5 nominations for Fryderyk after its release for: lyrics, music, arrangement and we don't know what else. The nominations were over because no statuette was awarded (sic!). This put the band and this music forever in the underground and the so-called alternative. We decided to resurrect this formula and show the world the achievements of HOMO TWIST. We have recorded 17 of the most important songs that will be released on CD and other media — informs Maciej Maleńczuk.

HOMO TWIST is a heavy and dark breath of musical art based on a superb rhythm section that meets the requirements of jazz. On the other hand, MALEŃCZUK's electric guitar style is rough, dark and loud — you could call it heavy metal in terms of sound, but certainly not in terms of content. The whole is completed by the brilliant texts of MALEŃCZUK, gloomy translations by the American poet EMILY DICKINSON and the famous poem NORWID — BEMA OF MEMORY THE MOURNING RAPSOD, currently dedicated to all the heroes of Ukraine who died in battle. HOMO TWIST — STILL EXISTS.
