Who is the hotel guest?

He is a wanderer, an observer, a man in constant motion, who in each new place leaves a particle of himself, and in return takes away the baggage of human stories. Such an intimate, multidimensional journey is proposed by Marcin Januszkiewicz during the premiere concert promoting his first full-length and co-authored solo album — “Hotelowy gość”.

This is an unprecedented event on the Polish music scene. Four legends meet on one album, outstanding masters of speech and Polish song: Artur Andrus, Jacek Cygan, Bogdan Olewicz and Andrzej Poniedzielski. Although the texts came from as many as five different pens, they are thoroughly imbued with Januszkiewicz's sensitivity. It is the fruit of many years of relationships, fascination, long conversations, as well as a beautiful epistolary exchange of thoughts between artists. Thanks to this, the perceptible style of great authors becomes extremely personal in the mouth of Marcin. They create a coherent and authentic manifesto.

However, “Hotel Guest” is not only a tribute to the tradition of an excellent text, but also a strong voice of Januszkiewicz himself as a mature author. In addition to masterful collaborations, we will hear the author's words written by him — led by the eponymous “Hotel Guest” or the extremely personal single “Aśka”.

The premiere concert is much more than just a presentation of material from a new album. It is also a fascinating journey through different latitudes, changing emotional states and life turns. Marcin Januszkiewicz, endowed with an extraordinary voice, stage charisma and acting instinct, invites viewers to check in with him for this one evening together in this metaphorical hotel. Each song here is a different room, a different mystery and a different state of focus.
