The greatest magician in history, America's first celebrity, descendant of Jewish immigrants and escape artist returns to the stage in an escape musical about his life and mysterious death, which his widow, Bess Houdini, tries to unravel. Every year on Halloween, she holds a spiritualistic seance, waiting for a signal from the afterlife from her husband, who has escaped death more than once. When more seances fail and the world prepares for war, Bess loses faith in the powers of Houdini, who just then appears — and kidnaps his wife on a magical odyssey. The Houdini family visit London, Paris, New York and Warsaw — where Houdini meets Piłsudski and uses a magic trick to help the Poles win the battle, known as the Miracle on the Vistula. Can an illusionist and magician stop the war?

“Houdini. A magical odyssey” is a musical escape room and another after “Circus Kafka”, an expedition to a time when esotericism mixes with technology, and fear for the future with faith in freedom, symbolized by the most famous Jewish trickster of the 20th century: Harry Houdini.
