HUG PIECE

Carla Ng presents

HUG PIECE is a participatory performance, inviting the audience into a shared dance, from the big bang, to the world's largest hug ceremony, to how the universe ends.

Something happens when we wrap our arms around each other, what is it? How can we be held by someone we’ve just met?

“Do you believe in life after hug ?” - Sher

——It invites the audience into a shared dance, from the big bang, to the world's largest hug ceremony, to how the universe ends; which is both silly and sincere, cosmic and mundane, theatrical and intimate.

If you really think about it, the Big Bang is just a hug gone wrong ...

——And that was the first human.
