HYD is a critically acclaimed pop project where music, art and performance merge into one unified expression. Behind the name is American artist Hayden Dunham, who with his debut album 'Clearing' (2022) quickly attracted attention for his uncompromising blend of alluring pop, experimental sound and powerful visual universes. Prior to HYD, Dunham became known for cross-border art projects such as QT and the viral “Hey QT” energy drink collaboration, as well as major public art works worldwide.

Critics have praised Dunham's work for its ability to move freely between disciplines. W Magazine called her “the art world's new ingénue,” while The New York Times described the works as “art you can inhale and drink.” With HYD, this cross-artistic approach is transferred directly to pop music, where sound, images and stage performance are treated as one cohesive experience.

Hyde's music revolves around changing states — destruction, regeneration, growth and emergence — creating an emotional and transformative expression. Second album, 'HOLD ONTO ME INFINITY, 'expands this universe with more glittery songwriting and a constant sense of movement. Live, HYD has performed in unusual venues such as rooftops, in caves, at museums and festivals, as well as on traditional stages. Along the way, she has shared stage with names such as Charli XCX, SOPHIE, A. G. Cook, Caroline Polachek and Sega Bodega. HYD is at the crossroads of music, art and community — inviting audiences into a world that can be heard, seen and felt.
