There will also be instrumental versions of the program, showing the fullness of the sound and possibilities of the big band. We are waiting for an evening dedicated to music that, despite the passing of decades, still delights with elegance, swing and timeless charm.

Duration of the concert: approx. 80'

The Chopin University Big Band consists of outstanding musicians, winners of prestigious national and foreign competitions, artists who are successful as soloists at concerts in different corners of the world. The group was founded in 2006 on the initiative of students and the authorities of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and quickly became one of the most recognizable big bands in Poland. Their mission is to present a diverse repertoire at the world level, and renowned soloists are invited to collaborate. CUBB is gaining a large fan base both at home and abroad.

The special guest of the concert will be Wojciech Myrczek — one of the most appreciated Polish jazz singers, known for his exceptional freedom of interpretation, excellent vocal technique and ability to find his own language in the classical repertoire. In his performance, Sinatra's songs will sound anew, in dialogue with the energy and color of the modern big band.

After the concert, there will be a ball with live music in the picturesque foyer of the Philharmonic.
