1st Independence Marathon “Połaniec runs”

November 11th- Independence Day - For sports, with a smile, in good company and with a white and red accent! Ahead of the 1st Independence Marathon “Połaniec Biega...” — an event where you don't have to be a marathon runner to feel part of something special! You can run, march, trot... your way, at your own pace! Because this is not about records, but about shared kilometers for the Independent!

The idea for this unique meeting was born from the passion of Zbigniew Baran and a group of local running lovers who decided to combine sport, patriotism and locals in one event!

The City and Municipality of Połaniec, Sports and Recreation Centre, Centre for Social Services, Centre for Culture and Art, Primary School, KGW Rybitwy and OSP Rybitwy were involved in its preparation. The honorary patronage of the event was taken by the Mayor of the City and Municipality of Połaniec Jacek Benedykt Nowak.

Date: November 11, 2026, 11:00 — 16:00 — start on the pitch at the T. Kościuszko Primary School in Połaniec, 1 Żapniowska Street.

Commemorative medals and refreshments prepared by KGW Rybitwy await the participants!
