The concert “I so hard to part” was recorded for the first time on May 6, 2017 at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw as part of the Festival of Polish Composers. The beautiful songs of the post-war period are timeless, we are still discovering new interpretive and musical qualities in them. Masters of the word such as Jeremi Przybora, Ludwik Starski, Julian Tuwim, K. I. Gałczyński or Grzegorz Wasowski (son of Jerzy Wasowski) add to their brilliance. For Lora Szafran, singing this extraordinary repertoire, as he himself says “is a way of expressing feelings”, and with the support of excellent musicians, it fully shows its possibilities. You can not miss it, it will be a special evening.
