Ian Shaw's Pianobar

The second line-up of this massively popular show features UK saxophone titan, Tony Kofi, the hugely talented singer, Jo Harrop, and Shirley Lewis and Dee Lewis-Clay, two vocalists, who have worked with the UK pop and soul greats (George Michael, Elton, Sting, Swing Out Sister). Tonight they will pay loving homage to the legendary Linda Lewis, sister of the above sisters (!) and Ian's dear friend. Linda's final performance was at this very club.

Jo Harrop, the contemporary and “…very fine jazz singer” (Iggy Pop) has recently released her US-recorded album, produced by the legendary Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock), ‘The Path of a Tear’. ‘A rare mix of delicacy and boldness. Sheer perfection.’ (The Guardian)

Four ace singers at the top of their games and the extraordinary Tony Kofi, around Shaw’s piano? This will be the hottest ticket in town.
