Cascades of hits with ICEKIID in VEGA

ICEKIID released back in June the single “Cats” feat. Artigeardit. A release that heralds new tones from the eminent songwriter.

It was back in 2015 that Danish rhyme-maker ICEKIID burst onto the Danish music scene with the monster hit “Coco Chanel”.

In 2021, he wrote Danish music history by securing a place for the song “Errudumellahvad” in the ultra-popular video game FIFA. The song has been streamed more than 50 million times — a milestone — which is surprising to few Danish artists.

With a crazy energy and a superior ability to elevate the pop fest time and time again, ICEKIID blew back the 2024 Arena tent at Roskilde Festival. Soundvenue gave it five sparkling stars and wrote:

“Again and again Icekiid succeeded in lifting the party to new heights. If the energy just failed briefly, as it did during a medley with songs like “No Wahala” and “Fifty,” he just made it explode with the FCK hit song “Gold Dance” — first a cappella with the whole tent, then with full sound and swinging towel in bare upper body.”

Musically, ICEKIID is characterized by afrobeat-inspired beats that serve as the perfect warm-up soundtrack for an unforgettable party.

But if you listen carefully, you will find that there is also a lyrical heaviness behind several of the songs. With tropical rhythms and warm beats, the aspiring songwriter and rapper loosens up even the stiffest and most autumnal cold joints.
