I'm Vincent and I'm not afraid

Vincent is 11 years old and an expert in survival in the wild. For him, survival in the schoolyard is also important on a daily basis, because Vincent is harassed by his classmates. As the next class trip is imminent, Vincent puts on a survival kit and hopes that he makes it through the week. Finally, there is also a ray of hope: The cool new classmate Jacqueline makes friends with Vincent. On the class trip, however, the situation escalates and his worst fears are exceeded...

The production by director Matthias Schönfeldt combines acting and live music to create a novel stage experience. Thanks to a sophisticated dance choreography by Maria Walser, direct depictions of violence can be dispensed with by staging bullying in dance. The driving force behind the piece is a sound designer: She not only modifies the electro and indietronic compositions of musical director Sinem Altan live — but she also creates and influences the performers' dialogues and (speaking) songs with situational voice and sound effects, merging these elements into a multi-dimensional work of art.
