Pop comet Ida Lilja sets course for Ideal Bar with her eminent sound

P3 has called her voice “pretty oldschool, pretty quirky and something you can't help but notice” -- and that makes sense.

In 2025, she was a finalist in KarrierKanonen, and since then Ida Lilja has made her mark with a sound where her honest vocals take center stage.

In a pop universe powered by ear-catching choruses, percussive drums and synthesizer, she writes songs about courage, inclusiveness and joie de vivre; all underpinned by an enviable and confident energy.

“I am not born with an inhuman amount of self-confidence, but I have a courage that means that I have learned to take my place despite the fear,” Ida Lilja said in a press release.

On her latest single “STOR SOM SOLEN”, Lilja pays tribute to the great arm movements and originality of self-confidence, and exults in shrugging off the condemnations and attitudes of others. The single is a taste of her upcoming EP, landing later this year.

Live, Ida Lilja has marked herself as an intense and present performer, with praise from both Politiken and GAFFA, with the latter highlighting her as an “eminent stage performer and vocalist”.
