On December 4, 2026, the Czech band Ida The Young will be the support before Jam!

Ida The Young is an alternative rock and electronic band from the Czech Republic.
Over the past few years, the band has moved from intimate, folk beginnings to a five-piece line-up that deliberately eludes easy genre classifications. Their music balances between alternative rock, folk and electronic sounds, and each subsequent material reveals a different side of their musical language. Their debut album from 2025, “Tell Me When You Pass The Sun” (Korobushka Records), earned them all three major Czech music awards, the Anděl Award, the Apollo Award and the Vinyla Award, making Ida The Young one of the most appreciated emerging bands on the Czech music scene.

Announced with the single “Dragon Head”, the upcoming album “Seeing In Reverse” (Day After Records, 2026) shows how the Czech quintet pushes the boundaries of their sound, directing them towards heavier, more unobvious and experimental territories. Instead of limiting themselves to what could later be played on stage, the band treated the studio as an instrument in its own right. As a result, electronics and live instruments remain in constant dialogue with each other.

Ida The Young have played more than 200 concerts across Europe so far, including at some of the biggest festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad, such as Colours of Ostrava, Sharpe Festival, Rock for People and MENT Ljubljana. Known for their eclectic and ever-changing live shows, the band often performs different versions of their tracks, adapting them to the venue, atmosphere and mood.

The concert is organised in collaboration with Liveurope, an initiative that aims to support concert venues in promoting the work of aspiring European artists.

The platform is a quality mark awarded to music clubs committed to promoting European musical diversity. Liveurope aims to improve the organisation of performances by young European artists across the continent and to help them reach new audiences abroad. Founded in 2014, Liveurope is the first of its kind in Europe.

Liveurope is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe programme and projects such as Above 55° (supported by the Nordic Culture Fund) and Soundcat (Ramon Llulla Institute) to increase touring opportunities for aspiring European artists.
