A psychological thriller that keeps you in suspense until the last second

How much are you willing to sacrifice for money? What if your every response could cost your life — yours or your loved ones?

Jordi Casanovas' “Idiot” is an intense drama about a man who accidentally finds himself in the middle of a disturbing game. The indebted hero accepts a seemingly simple proposal: to participate in a well-paid psychological study. A professional psychologist, a camera and a series of seemingly innocent questions await him on the spot.

However, it quickly becomes clear that this is no ordinary test. The boundaries begin to blur, the rules cease to be clear, and the tension grows with each response. What was supposed to be an experiment turns into a dangerous game in which there is much more at stake than anyone could have predicted.

Casanovas reveals with surgical precision the mechanisms of fear, manipulation and human desperation. “Idiot” balances on the border of thriller and black comedy, leading the viewer through an emotional labyrinth in which nothing is obvious and the question “who is really an idiot here?” takes on a new meaning.

It is a spectacle that draws you in and does not allow you to forget about yourself — even after leaving the audience.

Enter the test room. Take a seat. The first question is waiting.
