The Krakow Film Festival lasts a few days, but the festival life of good documentaries can last much longer! For the sixth time, the selected films from this year's edition of the festival are launched as part of the _insider project on a tour of studio cinemas. In October it will be possible to see “Playing with the Devil” by Piotr Małecki and Maćek Nabrdalik, and in November the “Orchestra” of Kuba Kossak. For two months, both documents will be presented in different parts of the country, giving viewers another opportunity to see on the big screen the most interesting contemporary Polish documents.
About the event
PLAYING WITH THE DEVIL
Christopher Morris fought in 28 wars. Armed with a camera, he documented bloody conflicts around the world. Today he tries to lead a quiet family life, but the demons of war do not give him peace, and the turbulent American reality beckons him every step of the way. In tasteful black and white frames, the film portrays a man who has not yet laid down his arms, but tries to face his choices and ambitions honestly. He talks about the consequences of working in the profession of a war photojournalist, which indirectly also affect his loved ones.
