“Immunocracy” is a choreographic-performative performance combining dance, new technologies and interactive projections. The starting point is the metaphor of democracy as an organism affected by an autoimmune disease that ceases to recognize its own structures and turns against itself. The movement of the performers activates a visual system based on motion tracking and face detection technology, creating a dynamic relationship between body, image and space.
As the creators say: “Immunocracy” does not offer simple answers or salvation from the outside. There is no superhero here to restore order. The question is whether, in a world of conflict, cynicism and loss of trust, we can still build common “antibodies”, mindfulness, reciprocity and responsiveness. The show works on the viewer's imagination and moves emotionally, inviting you to experience a field of tension in which technology, body and image become tools for reflection on the contemporary community.
