IMPROFEST FRIDAY

Jachimek improvises songs • Szymon Jachimek There are things in every settlement that you just have to talk about... and since conversations can be difficult, it's best to sing about them! Jachimek Improves Songs is a unique musical and comedy show held in the atmosphere of a neighborhood gathering in a common wheelchair. Simon will sing with great grace about the absurdities of everyday life based on the suggestions of the audience, and Hubert will take care of the masterful live piano setting. Come and see unscripted hit songs being made in front of your eyes. Greetings — Board of the Housing Community! Language: Polish (PL)

Bestseller • Teatr Improkracja On the occasion of the unique 15th anniversary Improkracja returns to its roots! During this year's ImProFest, they invite you to “Bestseller” - the first story format they have ever created. This is a full-scale performance in which the audience becomes a co-author of a new, hitherto unpublished novel. One suggestion from you — the title of a book that was never made — is enough to bring a whole new story to life on stage. Before your eyes, they create new chapters, build complex relationships between the characters and lead the plot through unexpected twists and turns until the final resolution. Think about the title now! Language: Polish (PL)

Meanwhile • Szafofe What happens behind the closed doors of the places we pass every day? In the play Meanwhile, the Szafofe group breaks down the first space indicated directly by the audience — from the train station or hospital, to a luxury cruise ship or... the castle in Malbork! The actors will look into the innermost recesses of a given location, discovering the intertwining destinies of the people who live, work or stay there only for a moment. Language: Polish (PL)

“Coincidence? I don't think so” • ImProFest guests The director enters the stage, having no idea who he will work with. He does not know the cast - he sees only the characters hidden under costumes and masks. Actors have it just as hard. They do not know who they will play with, who is hiding under the masks of the other characters, or where their story will lead. Without rehearsals, without prepared script and without any findings. Only at the very end the masks will fall off and it will be revealed who has been hiding under the costumes all this time. This is an improvisational experiment in which surprise is part of the rules of the game. Both for the audience and for everyone on stage. One thing is certain - there will be no other such spectacle. Directed by Artur Jóskowiak based on the idea of the Organizers of the ImProFest Festival Language: polski (PL)
