A journey in search of individual and collective identity through dance, music, thought, and spirituality. A constantly shifting point of intersection where pairs such as body and mind, ecstasy and reason, or faith and science take centre stage in an intense and dynamic choreography filled with powerful stories and revealing ideas.
Combining personal testimonies, historical events, fiction, and an electrifying audiovisual collage, the film explores the many dimensions of dancing: entertainment, catharsis, seduction, ritual, personal growth and, ultimately, one of humanity’s most fundamental forms of expression, through which we connect both with one another and with the world around us.
The Instituto Cervantes, in partnership with the IN-EDIT festival, presents the music documentary series “Música para tus ojos” (Music for Your Eyes).
